As my title says I am not a Jet Li fan.The only movie I ever saw him in was "Unleashed" so needless to say I wasnt thrilled when I was asked to go see Fearless.I will say that i'm so glad I did!!!!This was one of the best movies I've ever seen.Yes the movie is sub-titled but to be honest it never interfered with my enjoyment. To be honest I really never noticed.I would suggest to anyone with children to make sure you take them to this movie. It beautifully shows how we can be one moment, and what we can be transformed into the next.If this is Jet Li's last movie,he picked a good one to go out on!I loved it and hope to see it nominated for an oscar.Movies are suppose to entertain thats true. But if a movie can not only entertain but also teach an extremely important lesson then what else could you ask for?
To be perfectly frank Jet Li makes a true statement with this movie. The visualization in this movie goes beyond the normal special effects standards. While watching the movie I found myself thinking back to the pervious fight scenes and replaying some of the incredible fighting sequences. I remember saying to my wife that I believe that Jet Li had to hold back his true martial arts mastery, because it appeared that he was just so much better than his opponents throughout the movie (give or take key characters in the movie). I won’t tell you what happened in the movie, but I will tell you that the development of his character really makes you sit back and take a reflection of the true meaning of “Meekness”. Take the time to go see this movie and enjoy a well written plot, special effects, and an overall exciting movie experience.
